Return & Shipping Policy

RARE ELEMENTS RETURN POLICY 

At Rare Elements, we appreciate your business and stand behind the quality of our products. Your complete satisfaction is our ultimate goal. 

INTERNET - RETURNS  

All merchandise will be accepted for a 100% refund (less shipping and handling costs) Returned products must be in original condition in their original packaging along with any paperwork or accessories. Refunds or exchanges must be returned within 7 days of receipt, All refunds are subject to a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price, shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.  

Credit or replacement products will be processed within 2 weeks from the date of returned items. There are no exchanges or refunds for sale items.       

RETURNING YOUR PRODUCTS       

To return a product, please send an email to info@rare-elements.com to notify us of your intent to return an item or items. Please give your name, order number, the items you plan to return, and the reason for the return.  

Once we approve your request, we will provide you with a Return Authorization Number. You may then send us the unopened and unused merchandise along with your return authorization number. Once we receive the returned merchandise, we will credit the original credit card used for purchase. Shipping costs are not refunded unless the return is due to a Rare Elements error. We recommend for your protection that you send your return via FedEx, UPS, or insured Parcel Post. 

We are not responsible for lost return shipments. Return shipping & handling fees are not refundable. 

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE / INCORRECT ITEMS   

Exchange or refund of defective merchandise subject to the following conditions:  The items must be reported 7 days from date received, the item must be returned in its original packaging along with instructions and accessories.

UNOPENED ITEMS  

All unopened, damaged or defective products may be returned within 7 days. However, we do not accept opened items that have been used past the 7 days of receipt.

REFUND/CREDIT   

Once your return is processed, you will be credited the price of the products less original shipping & handling costs. Orders which originally received a qualifying promotion, "such as free shipping, samples and or free give away", may have the appropriate adjustments made to any refund due. Items returned without original packaging and accessories or are not resalable may be subject to a restocking fee. Refunds will always be issued to the same credit card to which they were charged and will be processed within 2 weeks of receipt of your return. Before any credits or replacement products are released, damaged merchandise must be returned to us. Replacement product will be shipped or credits will be issued once the merchandise has been returned. 

EXCHANGES 

If you wish to exchange a product for another product, please obtain a return authorization for the unused / unopened products you wish to return. Then place a new order for the replacement products you desire. Your card will be charged for new order and will be credited for returned products in accordance with our return policy. 

SHIPPING 

 All orders are shipped within 48 hours unless otherwise noted. We ship Monday - Friday, any orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday. Shipping is $9.95 for all orders and free with any purchase of $50 and above. Please allow 4-5 business days from the time of purchase to receive your order.  

SHIPPING AND HANDLING 

We proudly maintain a 99.7% or better shipping accuracy rate. But should you experience any problems with your order, please contact us immediately so that we may correct it in a timely manner. If you received a wrong product due to our error, we will promptly reship the correct products via standard ground at no additional cost.

If a delivery is returned as not deliverable, we will contact you for further instructions on the handling of your shipment.

Applicable shipping & handling charges may be assessed at the time of reshipment or refund.  

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS 

Products damaged during shipping will be replaced at no charge. Save the package and all contents, follow instructions located under (RETURNING YOUR PRODUCTS) and we will provide you with special instruction to process your replacement products.

Replacement products will be shipped via standard ground shipping at no charge, once the damaged merchandise has been returned and inspected.         

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY ERRORS 

We'll provide free return shipping if your return is the result of our error.All claims of shipping shortages must be made within 48 hours of receipt of goods. Rare Elements will not be held responsible for lost or stolen merchandise once it has been delivered by postal carrier to your address. All prices are subject to change without notice.

PAYMENT METHODS 

We accept VISA, MASTER CARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS credit cards. For all internet sales we also offer Amazon Pay and PayPal. All purchases made at Rare Elements are passed through a secure server so your credit card information is protected. 

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Ordering with Rare Elements is safe and secure. No information regarding your credit card will be stored on our website. You may also place and pay for your order by phone; 310 277 6524
